Michael J. Fox a Christopher Lloyd znovu jako Marty McFly a doktor Emmet Brown v přímém pokračování fantastické komedie Roberta Zemeckise.

Tentokrát se Marty dostal s doktorem Browna do roku 2015, aby zde společně vyřešili pár problémů s budoucností Martyho rodiny. Ale když se oba vrátí domů, objeví, že mezitím někdo úmyslně pohnul s časem a dal vzniknout příšerné variantě města Hill Valley roku 1985. Městu plného zločinu, kde neomezeně vládne ten největší gauner všech dob.

Jedinou možností je vrátit se znovu do roku 1955, znovu do děje prvního dílu, a zachránit tak budoucnost...
